Challenge
Create early strengths and abrasion resistance, and eliminate conventional curing methods to accelerate access to the slab.
Results
Conveyor systems, large storage racks, and electrical systems were installed just 26 days after the first slab placement, making this one of the fastest Amazon build-outs in a country of its size.

Project Overview
Crews from Compass Construction in Indianapolis, Indiana, worked around the clock to prepare the site and pour footings prior to site concrete work and slab on grade work was performed. Footings were poured late December, and slabs began in February of the following year, just months from initial site preparation. E5 Liquid Nano Silica was selected to achieve early strengths, abrasion resistance and eliminate conventional curing methods to accelerate the access to the slab. Conveyor systems, large storage racks, as well as electrical systems were installed just 26 days after first slab placement, making this one of the fastest Amazon build-outs in the country of its size.
How E5 Elevated Performance
E5 Liquid Nano Silica admixtures give control back to the finishing crews and accelerate construction schedules. E5 Liquid Nano Silica eliminates hardeners, sealers, and curing compounds. When used as a system, E5 creates internal curing, extremely high abrasion results and delivers high FF/FL levels. Crews gain access to the slab much quicker than compared to topically treated slabs.
